The Technology
The proprietary technology that goes into Repeltec sprays, results in the controlled release of Picaridin - an active ingredient typically used in skin lotions - to actively keep insects away from sprayed textiles and other surfaces.
 
Product features
Because Picaridin is a synthetic molecule inspired by compounds found in pepper plants, it is safe to use around people and pets and does not irritate skin if you accidentally spray it on your hands.  Because we repel insects without killing them, Repeltec does not damage your local ecosystem unlike toxic products that contain Permethrin, or other lethal pesticides.
 
Reapply every 2-3 months or when you see ants returning. Repeltec is easy to use, just spray a thin layer onto clean surfaces and allow it to air dry for a few minutes. Simply use soap and water to remove Repeltec from floors any surfaces where you don’t want it.
